‘I was, and still am, pleasantly delighted with the outstanding service, time, attention to detail and helpful advice received at Waurn Ponds Hearing Clinic.
The standard of the selected hearing aids have resulted in me continuing my desired normal daily lifestyle, such as weekly church attendance, regular social engagements, primary school classroom assistance, monthly Probus meetings, in addition to family activities.’
‘I am writing this statement because to me the recipient of my observations has been very satisfying in controlling and aiding my very poor hearing.
Fiona Sutherland’s approach was not to rely on just one product but to test me on several.
The result was and has been remarkable as the hearing aids I have chosen have suited me without change for 18 months including a caravanning trip around Australia.’
‘I love my hearing aids because –
- I don’t have to put my mobile on speaker anymore
- I can follow a TV program without turning up the volume so it is uncomfortably loud for others
- I can follow a conversation—even with background noise eg. Shopping centre or party
- Best of all I don’t have to keep saying “I beg your pardon”
Thanks heaps for your patience in finding the solution to my particular hearing problems.’
‘Life ain’t half “deaf” after the excellent attention to courteous, polite and professional attention, thanks to Fiona and her staff at Waurn Ponds Hearing Clinic. I am now hearing things that I have not heard for years.’
‘After some initial apprehension about hearing aids I was made very welcome and extremely comfortable in the initial appointment where a detailed explanation of the use of hearing aids was provided. The ability to trial the product and test it under real life day to day conditions was perfect in terms of having the basis to decide on the benefits of the investment and improved hearing under a variety of conditions. The ability to access Fiona’s ongoing support and advice in using the aids has been excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending her services to potential clients.’
‘The service is great. The hearing aid works really well for me. Overall I would recommend Waurn Ponds Hearing Clinic to those who have a hearing problem.’
‘I was using my third set of hearing aids (from another hearing provider) without much success.
One visit to Fiona at Waurn Ponds Hearing and my ability to hear and understand a conversation changed completely. I am very appreciative.’
‘Love the technology in my aids – they work really well with my smartphone.
Love that I can adjust my aids from my phone. I love the apparent reduction in my tinnitus. I love that these upgraded aids adjust to wind noise.’
As with all industries, the hearing industry has an over representation of services in the area of hearing aid sales. However, as audiologists our roles are much more diverse. At Waurn Ponds Hearing Clinic we are trying to keep the focus on our more important roles. Precise diagnostic testing of adults and children over 3…Details
We welcome the discussion by the ACCC following its investigations into the industry. After years of campaigning for registration of the industry failing it is nice to see support for better controls and threats to make companies treat consumers fairly. A good summary of this was presented on the Checkout program last week. Follow this…Details
We’ve designed a hearing clinic
aimed to suit your needs
‘Do you want to learn more about your hearing abilities and any areas that can be improved?’
‘Do you want to learn all the options available for improvement and not just the hearing aids?’
‘Would you like to sample what technology could offer you before you delve deeper into make model prices?’
‘Do you crave being welcomed back into a clinic to receive friendly after sales service and advice?’
As a team we can provide you with clear, understandable options for your consideration. We see both private and government-funded clients, and provide the same service to all. At your first consultation we will ask you to provide us with some honest answers to your current issues and after completing the hearing test we will explain what your hearing levels are in comparison with others.
If intervention is possible we will explain the options and any costs involved. Our staff do not receive any commissions for sales nor do we have any preferred supplier deals, so we are free to provide you with all the options on the market. We strongly encourage you to bring a family member or a friend to the appointment. If hearing devices are an option we encourage a free trial of the device for a few weeks so you can gain a clear understanding of how it feels to wear a hearing aid and any benefits it may give.
